Where are your tuition sessions conducted?
My sessions are held either in Stamford, or surrounding villages or online via video calls, providing flexibility and convenience for our students.
How long are the tuition sessions?
My standard tuition sessions typically last for one hour. However, I also offer shorter 30-minute sessions.
What qualifications and experience do you have?
- I hold a PGCE qualification and has extensive experience working as a teacher/tutor in primary and secondary schools.
- I also have a accredited level 5 certificate in Dyslexia; Literacy, Support & Intervention.
- I hold professional Memberships for the British Dyslexia Association AMBDA and Patoss.
- With full indemnity insurance.
- Current DBS certificate.
How do you tailor tuition to individual students?
I conduct an initial personal assessment at the beginning of each engagement to understand the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. Based on this assessment, I design bespoke lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.
Do you offer tuition for students preparing for exams?
Yes, I provide specialised tuition for students preparing for their 11+ exams, focusing on building essential skills and strategies to help them succeed.
What is the cost of tuition?
My tuition rates are £35 per hour for standard sessions and £18 for the shorter 30-minute sessions.
